Family Friendly Ministry
Sunday School for ALL ages (10:00am - 10:40am)
Sunday School is all about knowing God through His Word (the Bible), Discipleship, and Fellowship. It's being more than a spectator, it's about being involved. Sunday School is the opportunity to build relationships with God and with others. It's about learning, growing, sharing, and caring. It's an opportunity to build relationships that last through a lifelong journey of faith. You can't afford to miss out on all the blessings and fun!
Children (0 - 5th grade)
We have Sunday School for Children of all ages, located downstairs in our preschool wing. Nursery is provided upstairs next to the sanctuary.
Youth (6th - 12th grade)
Our Youth Sunday School class meets in the Youth Center building. All middle and high school students are welcome to attend.
Adults of all Ages
We have six active Adult Sunday School classes to choose from. Classes ranging from topical, Bible studies, and curriculum based studies.
Children & Family Ministries
Beyond Sundays thoughout the year, there are opportunities for children and families to fellowship, and grow together in Christ. We also gather for a monthly church-wide fellowship meal on the first Wednesday of each month. We also have seasonal family-friendly studies lead by our pastoral staff where children, youth, adults, and families of ALL ages are welcome.
Youth Ministries
We have a very active youth group! They enjoy many fellowship opportunities as well as weekly Bible study, small groups, mission projects, fundraisers, and retreats. They meet for fellowship on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 6:00pm. All youth are welcome.
United Methodist Men
Our United Methodist Men's group meets monthly on the first Sunday of the month at 7:30am for a fellowship breakfast at the church. Annually, we participate in our Fall Festival, BBQ, and raising money for various outreach and mission projects. We support annual church-wide ministries such as Vacation Bible School, Youth Mission trips, Scout fundraisers, meals for our church family, and many other local charities and outreach programs. Whether you are 18 or 100 years old, we invite you to be a part of our men's group.
United Women in Faith
The Mt. Pleasant United United Women in Faith include four groups/circles. We visit the elderly, engage in mission work through our local schools, serve as the mission response center, enjoy and end-of-year picnic, Christmas parties, feeding the hungry, serving the poor, and helping those with needs in our community. We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ and to develop a creative support fellowship to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.
Senior Adult Ministries (Keenagers)
We have a number of senior adults who are faithfully engaged in the mission of the church and intentionally inter-relate with all generations through programs such as confirmation mentors, food ministry, prayer partners, monthly fellowship outings, and more. Come join us!
